Why We Left. Why It Matters.

In 2017, Derrick Brauner, Adam Maher, and founding president Mark House made a deliberate choice: leave the traditional brokerage world and build something they could be proud of.

Independence meant no proprietary products to push, no sales quotas to meet, and no divided loyalties. It meant the freedom to recommend what’s genuinely best for each client — and to build the kind of long-term relationships that a transaction-driven model never allows.

That founding conviction is still the heartbeat of Grand Glaize today. We serve clients across the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, and the broader mid-Missouri region — and every decision we make still runs through the same filter: is this right for the client?
